Cartagena de Indias is the undisputedly one of the most beautiful cities of the Caribbean coast. After visiting Colombia this past September I knew I had to add it to our 2020 list! The city captured my heart and I’m already itching to go back.
Join us next year as we explore the cobblestone streets, soak up the sun at some of the best nearby islands, meet the locals who make the city ever so vibrant, dance, dance and dance some more because life is for living and of course visit some incredible bucket list sites.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Cartagena, Colombia! Our representatives will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your luxe hotel in the city center.
Tonight you will meet the rest of the group and we will welcome you to Cartagena with an authentic Colombian dinner, live music and dancing.
Day 2
Today you have the choice of a bicycle city tour or a walking tour with a chance to try Cartagena’s street food!
After breakfast, head out for a get an intimate look at the historic streets and monuments of Cartagena. Discover this Caribbean city’s wealth of beautiful architecture, meet the famous palenqueras women who bring life to Cartagena, shop in the street markets, visit the most instagrammable parts of the walled city and get to know what local life is all about.
End the day with a nighttime salsa dance class with locals.
Day 3
Set sail on a 70ft yacht - today we will go island hopping and experience some of the best private islands off the coast of Cartagena.
Today is all about the white sand beaches, clear blue water and relaxation with a boat party of course.
Our yacht comes fully equipped with a surround sound system, butler service, snorkeling gear, drinks, private catering and much more. We will cruise over to Playa Blanca and other stunning islands, you will have the chance to get off the boat, swim and explore. The day tour will end by a cruise around the Bay of Bocagrade and the old Center.
Day 4
Today we are headed to the famous mud volcano which contains natural minerals for medicinal purposes. Take a dip and then enjoy a mud massage before heading to the pink sea.
Colombia’s pink sea brings all 5 senses alive. Here you can breathe the purest air of the region, take the perfect pic for your memories, feel the breeze of the Caribbean Sea, and explore one of the biggest salt mines of the country. We will enjoy lunch overlooking the lighthouse and beaches, accompanied by folkloric presentations before heading back to the city center.
Tonight we will end the trip and say our goodbyes at a final dinner and breathe-taking views of the city.
Day 5
Check out & head back home.

Total price per person - $1800
Payment schedule:
Deposit - $200 November 20th 2020
Payment 1 - $320 December 20th 2020
Payment 2 - $320 January 2021 15th
Payment 3 - $320 February 2021 15th
Payment 4 - $320 March 2021 15th
Payment 5 - $320 April 2021 15th
Sign ups will stay open until the trip is full.
The payment towards your trip can be paid out monthly according to the schedule above or in full. You can also choose to pay for multiples months at once.
Prices are based on double occupancy - This means you will be paired with another solo traveler or a friend if you bring one along. You can also opt in for a single room.
Single Room Fee - One time payment of $450 due by February 5th 2021 (This is an optional one time fee if you would like to have your own room )

YOU’LL NEED TO HANDLE:
Flights - from wherever in the world you’re joining us from.
Travel insurance - You are responsible for obtaining your own travel insurance. Travel insurance is not required but it is recommended. I recommend World Nomads. Nevertheless, it is your responsibility to research travel insurance companies in your location and select an insurer that covers any potential flight cancellations and/or medical coverage abroad.
Visas and vaccinations – For most Western, European and East Asian countries a visa is not required to enter Colombia. A tourist visa will be issued upon arrival for a maximum of 90 days and all visitors must have a valid passport from their country which is valid for a minimum of 6 months after return. The same applies to United States citizens. Visa extensions are available for up to a maximum of 1 additional month; however the process of application can be both long and costly.
Spending money in local currency - for extra drinks, snacks, souvenirs and lunch/dinners not included.
CAN I COME ALONE OR DO I HAVE TO COME WITH SOMEONE?
Either or! The great thing about these travel meet-ups is that it's a wonderful opportunity to connect with other like-minded travelers and make new friendships. More than half of our guests are coming solo and a few are bringing a bestie or two!

The weather around Colombia varies significantly, luckily in April Cartagena will be hot, hot, hot.

Because the accommodation and activities are paid for once you confirm your spot, all deposits are non-refundable.

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable and you have up to 7 days after a payment is made to request a refund for all payments made towards the remaining balance after the deposit.
