GETTING TO ICELAND

Your flight should arrive at Reykjavík–Keflavík Airport (KEF) where you will be welcomed by one of our representatives holding a signboard of your name and "Chidi Ashley Travels".

YOU’LL NEED TO HANDLE:

Flights - from wherever in the world you’re joining us from.

Travel insurance - You are responsible for obtaining your own travel insurance. Travel insurance is not required but it is recommended. I recommend World Nomads. Nevertheless, it is your responsibility to research travel insurance companies in your location and select an insurer that covers any potential flight cancellations and/or medical coverage abroad.

Visas and vaccinations – Schengen Visa is required to visit Iceland as a tourist. However, the Schengen visa is not required for citizens of Canada and the United States of America. Please use the resources linked below to confirm the appropriate visa requirements.

Iceland is a party to the Schengen Agreement. This means that U.S. citizens may enter Iceland without a visa for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes. Your passport should be valid for at least three months beyond your intended date of departure from the Schengen area.

CAN I COME ALONE OR DO I HAVE TO COME WITH SOMEONE?

Either or! The great thing about these travel meet-ups is that it's a wonderful opportunity to connect with other like-minded travelers and make new friendships. More than half of our guests are coming solo and a few are bringing a bestie or two!

WEATHER IN ICELAND IN NOVEMBER

End of Fall and the beginning of Winter!

Temperatures in November in Iceland are cold. The average temperature is about 4 °c or about 40 F and is pretty steady throughout the month. November is super cozy as it is getting darker outside, the music scene is booming, the Northern Lights are dancing and there is snow!

IF I CHANGE MY MIND, DO I GET A REFUND?

Because the accommodation and activities are paid for once you confirm your spot, all deposits are non-refundable.

Refund Policy after the deposit:

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable and you have up to 7 days after payment is made to request a refund for all payments made towards the remaining balance after the deposit.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

All payments must be made through the website using any major debit/credit cards and PayPal, you will receive an automated invoice.
