WHAT APPS DO I USE TO FIND CHEAP FLIGHTS?
Kayak & Skyscanner.com are my go-to for finding reasonably priced flights.
YOU’LL NEED TO HANDLE:
Flights - from wherever in the world you’re joining us from.
Travel insurance - You are responsible for obtaining your own travel insurance. Travel insurance is not required but it is recommended. I recommend World Nomads. Nevertheless, it is your responsibility to research travel insurance companies in your location and select an insurer that covers any potential flight cancellations and/or medical coverage abroad.
Visas and vaccinations – Visitors to Ghana must obtain a visa from one of the Ghanaian diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the countries or territories that are either visa-exempt or whose citizens may obtain a visa on arrival. Please note that citizens of the United States of America and Canada are required to obtain a visa. Not to worry - the visa process is quick and simple and we will provide you will all the information and supporting documents you need.
All visitors to Ghana are also required to show their yellow fever vaccination certificate on arrival. If you haven’t got one, you will need to get a vaccination at the airport and pay a surcharge so it’s best to get your vaccination prior to arrival.

Please see here for recommended vaccines. You should also consult with your primary care physician prior to traveling.
Spending money in local currency - for extra drinks, snacks, souvenirs, and lunch/dinners not included.

Either or! The great thing about these travel meet-ups is that it's a wonderful opportunity to connect with other like-minded travelers and make new friendships. More than half of our guests are coming solo and a few are bringing a bestie or two!
