This bucket list itinerary gives you a unique opportunity to discover the heritage and rich history of two interesting countries, Egypt and Jordan.

We have paired two of the ancient world’s most incredible wonders to create an unforgettable journey. Explore the land of the Pharaohs before crossing the Sinai Peninsula to Petra, the ‘rose-red which is half as old as time’.
Start in Cairo, where a full day tour takes you to The Great Pyramids. Built between 2560 and 2540 BC, it is also the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one still standing. Jordan’s capital, Amman is a thriving, progressive city, particularly in its west. With historic sights like the Roman Theatre and King Abdullah Mosque, this is an ideal place to begin your Jordanian adventure.
After a day touring the capital, set out for Petra, the symbol of Jordan. Spend two nights here, as you’ll want plenty of time to visit this millennia old city, with famous sights including the rock-cut architecture of the Treasury, the Street of Facades and the Amphitheater.
Head out to visit Wadi Rum, the breathtaking, almost alien desert landscape made famous by Lawrence of Arabia. Finally, visit the dead sea and Roman city of Jerash.
This is truly an experience like no other!

If you sign up late we will provide adjusted payment schedules for you to catch up on your monthly payments by July 5th.
The payment towards your trip can be paid out monthly or in full. You can also choose to pay for multiples months at once. You will be paired with another solo traveler or a friend if you bring one along.

Travel insurance - You are responsible for obtaining your own travel insurance. Travel insurance is not required but it is recommended. I recommend World Nomads. Nevertheless, it is your responsibility to research travel insurance companies in your location and select an insurer that covers any potential flight cancellations and/or medical coverage abroad.
Visas and vaccinations – Visas are required to visit Egypt and Jordan as a tourist. Please use the resources linked below to confirm the appropriate visa requirements. These visas can be purchased on arrival for most citizens. Your visa in Jordan is included.

Either or! The great thing about these travel meet-ups is that it's a wonderful opportunity to connect with other like-minded travelers and make new friendships. More than half of our guests are coming solo and a few are bringing a bestie or two!

It is quite warm and sunny. Don’t forget to bring your shades, sunscreen, and a hat or headscarf. Loose, long-sleeved, lightweight clothing is advised!

The average night-time temperature is usually a comfortable 21°C (70°F). There are usually 11 hours of bright sunshine each day, which represents 84% of the 13 hours of daylight.

HOW MUCH FREE TIME IS THERE?
You have afternoons/evenings of free time in the itinerary that you can use to relax, go out to explore or go shopping. However, all activities in the itinerary are optional so you are welcome to skip something in favor of some extra down time!

All payments can be made through the website using any major credit card, you will receive an automatic invoice.
