GETTING TO EGYPT & DUBAI

Your international flight will arrive in Cairo International Airport. Cairo International Airport (IATA: CAI, ICAO: HECA) (Arabic: مطار القاهرة الدولي‎; Maṭār El Qāhira El Dawly) is the principal international airport of Cairo and the busiest airport in Egypt and serves as the primary hub for EgyptAir and Nile Air as well as several other airlines.

WHAT IS THE SUGGESTED TIME THAT I SHOULD LOOK FOR FLIGHT ARRIVALS?

The check-in time into your hotel is usually in the afternoon (2.00 p.m.). Our suggestion would be to look for arrival time in the afternoon (between 12 - 1 p.m.).  If you arrive early (near to or after the check-in time), you will have more time to settle into your hotel and explore the surrounding areas while getting adjusted to the place! Please make sure to arrive before 6 p.m. as that’s when our welcome dinner starts.

Flights - from wherever in the world you’re joining us from.

Travel insurance - You are responsible for obtaining your own travel insurance. Travel insurance is not required but it is recommended. I recommend World Nomads. Nevertheless, it is your responsibility to research travel insurance companies in your location and select an insurer that covers any potential flight cancellations and/or medical coverage abroad.

Visas and vaccinations – Visas are required to visit Egypt and Dubai as a tourist. Please use the resources linked below to confirm the appropriate visa requirements.

f you are a passport holder of countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States of America, no advance visa arrangements are required to visit the UAE. Simply disembark your flight at Dubai International Airport and proceed to Immigration, where your passport will be stamped with a 30-days visit visa free of charge.

CAN I COME ALONE OR DO I HAVE TO COME WITH SOMEONE?

Either or! The great thing about these travel meet-ups is that it's a wonderful opportunity to connect with other like-minded travelers and make new friendships. More than half of our guests are coming solo and a few are bringing a bestie or two!

In Cairo, Egypt, in December, the average high-temperature is 20.3°C (68.5°F), and the average low-temperature is 10.4°C (50.7°F).

In December, in Dubai, the average high-temperature is 26.2°C (79.2°F), and the average low-temperature is 16.3°C (61.3°F).

 IF I CHANGE MY MIND, DO I GET A REFUND?

Because the accommodation and activities are paid for once you confirm your spot, all deposits are non-refundable.

Refund Policy after the deposit:

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable and you have up to 7 days after a payment is made to request a refund for all payments made towards the remaining balance after the deposit.

HOW MUCH FREE TIME IS THERE?

You have afternoons/evenings of free time in the itinerary that you can use to relax, go out to explore or go shopping. However, all activities in the itinerary are optional so you are welcome to skip something in favor of some extra down time!

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

All payments must be made through the website using any major credit card, you will receive an automated invoice.
