WHAT TIME DOES THE WELCOME DINNER START?

It usually starts in the evening at around 6.30 p.m. – 7.00 p.m. However, the traditional Balinese dress-up and private photo shoot start at around 3.00 p.m.

WHAT APPS DO I USE TO FIND CHEAP FLIGHTS?

Kayak & Skyscanner are my go-to for finding reasonably priced flights.

WHICH AIRPORT DO I FLY INTO?

There is only one major airport in Bali which everyone flies into which Ngurah Rai International Airport. This is where you will be picked up and driven to the villa.

YOU’LL NEED TO HANDLE:

Flights - from wherever in the world you’re joining us from.

Travel insurance - You are responsible for obtaining your own travel insurance. Travel insurance is not required but it is recommended, I recommend World Nomads. Nevertheless, it is your responsibility to research travel insurance companies in your location and select an insurer that covers any potential flight cancellations and/or medical coverage abroad.

Visas and vaccinations - Most tourists can get a visa on arrival for free in Bali if they are staying for less than 30 days. Over 160 nationalities do not require a visa to visit Bali, Indonesia for a maximum stay of 30 days. However, please note that the free entry stamp cannot be extended and your passport must be valid at least 6 months (for social visa 12 months) from the day of arrival.

Spending money in local currency - for extra drinks, snacks, souvenirs, and lunch/dinners that are not included. We suggest that you bring about $300 spending money for the week to cover extra meals, emergencies, and more.

CAN I COME ALONE OR DO I HAVE TO COME WITH SOMEONE?

Either or! The great thing about These travel meet-ups is that it's a wonderful opportunity to connect with other like-minded travelers and make new friendships. More than half of our guests are coming solo and a few are bringing a bestie or two!

WEATHER IN Bali in October

PERFECT! Sunny during the day and a little chilly at night.

Summer! Don’t forget to bring your shades, sunscreen and a hat or headscarf. Loose, long-sleeved, lightweight clothing is advised!

 For reference, the average maximum daytime temperature in Bali in September is a hot 30°C (86°F) with high heat & humidity. The average night-time temperature is usually a warm 23°C (73°F). There are usually 10 hours of bright sunshine each day, which represents 84% of the 12 hours of daylight.

Expect 116mm (4.6 inches) of rainfall across the whole of September with 1 day with some rain falling.

Refund Policy after the deposit:

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable and you have up to 7 days after payment is made to request a refund for all payments made towards the remaining balance after the deposit.

HOW MUCH FREE TIME IS THERE?

You have afternoons/evenings of free time in the itinerary that you can use to relax, go out to explore, or go shopping. However, all activities in the itinerary are optional so you are welcome to skip something in favor of some extra downtime!

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

All payments can be made through the website using any major credit card, you will receive an automatic invoice.

ARE FLIGHTS INCLUDED?

Flights are not included in the price, it is your responsibility to purchase your own flight for the trip. I would suggest purchasing your flight early to save money, also check out Sky Scanner and Kayak for cheaper flight options, another tip is to check the flight prices to nearby Asian countries like Vietnam, China, Singapore, Malaysia, etc and then book a flight from either of those countries to your final destination sometimes this could end up being cheaper.

Will I be sharing a room/bathroom? What are the Sleeping arrangements? 

If you signed up with a friend you and your friend will share your own private bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Solo travelers will be paired with another solo traveler. All travelers who want their own rooms pay a single room fee.

Where can I find affordable flights to Bali? 

I always refer people to Kayak, Skyscanner, and Student Universe if you are still in college or recently graduated. I also have written about how to cut costs when flying to Bali in my Bali travel

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

The check-in time into your villa is usually in the afternoon (2.00 p.m.). Our suggestion would be to look for an arrival time in the afternoon.  If you arrive early (near to or after the check-in time), you will have more time to settle into your villa and explore the surrounding areas while getting adjusted to the place!
